Ok, I did not expect to like this as much as I did. I Just watched the below trailer for the movie
'Grudge Match' starring Sylvester Stallone, and Robert De Niro. They play 2 ex boxers who are talked out of retirement to settle a score 50 years after their last fight. I've recently wondered who the next long term action star would be, and I think since no one seems to be stepping up, we are going to see more movies with aged stars taking these kinds of rolls. Similar to
'Space Cowboys',
'The Last Stand' and
'Last Vegas'. I certainly dont mind watching these great actors continue to take big movie rolls. But I digress.
Raging Bull, meet Rocky Balboa, throw in some comedy from Kevin Hart and Alan Arkin and I think we've got a pretty interesting movie here. Looks like a lot of fun but I suspect there will be a good message thrown in here somewhere. I'll say that De Niro has his work cut out for him seeing how Stallone is still ripped from playing movies like the Expendables series. So it should be fun to watch how these two old time fighters morph back into some form of their former fit characters.
