E.T. - The Cover Up (literally) Documentary

I wish I could say that I remember playing the Atari game E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial but sadly I was saved from that gem. My game collection was very limited. Only those lucky game connoisseurs got a taste of what E.T. had to offer the Atari console. The very same game that just about broke Atari from the inside due to its epic failure. So bad in fact that Atari trucked what was left of their E.T. inventory and buried them in the New Mexico desert.

Almost like Who Killed The Electric Car, but with video games. The below clip is a trailer for Zak Penn's documentary Atari: Game Over that tells the story from the release of the movie, to the creation of the game and then to the burial. As far as a documentary, this is something that looks really interesting. Check it out!

MAD MAX Fury Road - Worth the wait!

Mad Max: Fury Road has been talked about for some time now. But looks like on May 15th 2015 it will finally be here. From what I see in this trailer it was worth the wait. It is as Vissualy stunning as it is gritty and on par from what I would expect from a Mad Max film. Tom Hardy is a good choice for Max as well.

WOW - TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION new trailer

Based on what Im seeing from these new trailers 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' could easily be as good if not better than the first Transformers (2007). I think most people were disappointed with the 2nd and 3rd film. But I think I caught a glimpse of a prehistoric reason why this movie will probably surpass all the others! The trailer below is a must see.

I remember watching Limitless and just loving it. After seeing the trailer for Lucy, Limitless looks like a pathetic, slow and weak movie. Though Limitless looks more possible, Lucy is what I think we all want when we think of using our brain's full potential. Check out the trailer below... Tell me this doesnt look amazing!

A NIGHT IN OLD MEXICO - trailer!

Robert Duvall proves its hard to keep a good man down in his latest movie 'A Night In Old Mexico'. Duvall plays, Red, a rancher who loses his land and home and is told to move into a trailer park. Red wont take that as an option and decides to run off on a crazy adventure with his grandson to Mexico. It's there that he ends up getting into some trouble that only a man played by Duvall can get himself out of. Watch this trailer and tell me this doesnt scream Thelma And Louis, minus the cliff jump.

I'll pretty much watch anything that Duvall is in, and this is no exception.

Brick Mansions - Trailer - Paul Walker

Aside from 'Fast & Furious 7' this is the only other new project that includes Paul Walker due to his untimely death. In 'Brick Mansions' Walker plays Damien, an undercover cop, trying to stop a crime boss that is attempting to acquire a neutron bomb.

With the exception of Paul Walker, Brick Mansions doesnt have the most star studded cast. However, all things considered, Walker will be able to carry this movie alone. And from the clips I've seen, (see below), there will be enough action and drama to keep us all entertained.

I also really digged the cover of 'Stand By Me' by Ki: Theory playing in the background. I will attach that video at the bottom as well.

Another MALEFICENT trailer!!

Here is the newest trailer for Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie. This one doesnt look nearly as dark and scary as the previous 2 trailers but it still looks like it should be a pretty good movie. Also I just noticed that Jolie's own 5 year old daughter (Vivienne Jolie-Pitt) will be in this movie. So thats pretty cool. Guess its who ya know...

Check out the trailer below for the new version of Annie. Its hard to mess up an adaptation of Annie and this one looks no different. Annie, starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz comes out Dec 19, 2014. So its still pretty far off and you'll have to watch the trailer to bide your time.

Transformers: Age of Extinction Teaser Trailer

IMO the last Transformer movies were very well done for the most part. But I'll say this based on the short clip below of "Age of Extinction", this movie looks to blow the first movies away! Check it out!

I really like the plot of this movie. A criminal master mind that looks just like Kermit, takes Kermit's identity and frames him for a series of crimes. This movie stars Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, and Ty Burrell, not to mention 20 other A-list celebrities that make an appearance. Im really looking forward to seeing this one and hope it continues the success from the last Muppets movie.

Space Jam 2 Starring LeBron James, nope, not kidding...I hope

Deadline has just reported that Dick Ebersol and Warner Bros will be making a second Space Jam movie starring the King himself, LeBron James. Space Jam 1 with Michael Jordan was very successful when first released, making 230 million. Though the movie didnt age well, it was still a lot of fun with great cameos from other NBA stars. I suspect we will see much of the same, with some new faces in the league. And who knows maybe we will catch a glimpse of Jordan or Barkley.

Fingers crossed that the cameras actually start rolling on this sequel.

In the Blood trailer - MUST SEE!

'In the Blood' has one of the most epic role reversal plots I've seen. This movie stars Gina Carano a wife who's husband is kidnapped, of all things, and its up to her to get him back. Think of the Fast and Furious 6 scene where she fights Michelle Rodriguez, but now swap out Rodriguez for a ton of professional killers and make that scene last the whole movie. That is what Im expecting out of 'In the Blood'. Check out this sweet trailer below!

POMPEII - Volcano vs People!

The real story of Pompeii is the destruction of the city by 20 feet of ash and pumice from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. This clearly is an action movie and since humans dont stand much chance fighting volcanoes I assume there will be a lot of gladiator fighting to fill in the full movie. That is of course unless they decide to use the plot from 'Devil at 4 O'Clock'. But either way from what I can see from the trailers this will be a very visually stunning movie and perhaps one that would be best seen in 3D. Anyway, check out the trailer below and tell me what you think.

Disney's Maleficent - "Dream" Trailer!!

Disney has released what they call the "dream" trailer. This movie keeps looking darker and more scary with every new trailer/poster they release. Clearly not a movie for kids, but it you re-watch some of the classics you wonder if even the originals were acceptable for children. I'll let you make that decision. But I digress. This movie looks like it will be extremely well done and I cant get over how perfect Jolie is for this character. Check out the trailer for yourself.
